April 8, 2021: CECAM Session on Data Driven Science with an Overview Talk by Claudia Draxl

We would like to draw your attention to the following event:

April 8, 2021 from 15:00 to 19:00 CEST
CECAM Mixed-gen Session on Data Driven Science

and a poster session
https://www.cecam.org/workshop-details/1078

In the first part, Claudia Draxl will give an overview talk entitled “From data to knowledge” (abstract), followed by two young members of the community describing their work in the area of data driven science. The latter talks will be selected from the submitted poster abstracts. In the second part, PhD students and researchers in their first post-doc will present pertinent projects in a virtual poster session. The event is designed to provide a venue for PhD students and young researchers to present their work and to receive feedback from experts.

Program

  • 15:00 to 15:05 - Welcome & Introduction
  • 15:05 to 15:55 - Claudia Draxl - From data to knowledge
  • 15:55 to 16:15 - Q&A session
  • 16:15 to 16:35 - 1st talk by a young researcher
  • 16:35 to 16:45 - Q&A session
  • 16:45 to 17:05 - 2nd talk by a young researcher
