NOMAD was well represented at the WATOC 2017 11th Triennial Congress of the World Association of Theoretical and Computational Chemists, 27 August - 1 September 2017 in Munich, Germany.

Matthias Scheffler, NOMAD Coordinator, gave an invited talk 'Big data of the chemical physics of materials: discovering interpretable patterns, correlations and causality'.

Claudia Draxl, leader of the NOMAD Encyclopedia team, also gave an invited talk, 'From evaluation of methodology to error bars in computational materials science'.
